A beautiful, white, healthy smile depends upon healthy and functional teeth and gums. It’s for this reason that we take a whole-of-mouth approach, and not just consider the aesthetics of your smile.
Your oral health has a big influence on your overall health, and can be affected by such factors as excessive wear or discolouration of the teeth; bruxism, or tooth grinding; gum disease that can result in tooth loss; age related changes, and tooth and jaw misalignment.
Your personalised treatment plan will often take a multidisciplinary approach, incorporating both neuromuscular and cosmetic dental procedures to achieve a beautiful smile. For example, your treatment plan may include dental implants to replace missing teeth, a bite splint to stabilise the jaw position, orthodontics, oral surgery, a combination of which can help achieve the best results specifically for you.
We will conduct an overall assessment, asking specific questions and conducting a thorough examination, which may include X-rays of your teeth and jaws, photographs of your face and smile, and impressions of your teeth. After careful evaluation of these results, we will make a full diagnosis and formulate a comprehensive treatment plan for you.
