Meet Dr Tony Coyne
Dr Tony Coyne graduated from the University of Queensland Dental School before travelling and working extensively throughout the United States, United Kingdom and Canada. Dr Coyne undertook his prosthodontic residency in New York, and then achieved his Masters Degree in Prosthodontics at the University of London. Dr Tony Coyne was then appointed as Assistant Professor at the Universities of Saskatchewan, and later at the University of British Columbia before returning to his native Queensland to start his own specialist prosthodontic practice on the Gold Coast.With his extensive study and work experience around the world, as well as back home in Australia, Dr Tony Coyne is considered one of the best prosthodontists on the Gold Coast.
Dr Tony Coyne’s Gold Coast prosthodontic practice is located at 2 Short Street, Southport. This is a nice central Gold Coast location, within walking distance of the Australia Fair shopping centre (providing a good alternative option for car parking if there are no parks available on the street). Given the location, public transport is also a good option with tram and bus stops nearby.
Formerly President of the Academy of Australian & New Zealand Prosthodontics, Dr Tony Coyne is passionate about continuing his education spending two weeks annually at local and international Prosthodontic meetings.
In his spare time Dr Tony Coyne likes to make the most of living on the sunny Gold Coast, enjoying time in the beautiful outdoors by kayaking, sailing and playing golf. He also very much enjoys spending time with his family.
