Meet Dr Tony CoyneDr Tony Coyne graduated from the University of Queensland Dental School before travelling and working extensively throughout the United States, United Kingdom and Canada. Dr Coyne undertook his prosthodontic residency in New York, and then achieved his Masters Degree in Prosthodontics at the University of London. Dr Tony Coyne was then appointed as Assistant Professor at the Universities of Saskatchewan, and later at the University of British Columbia before returning to his native Queensland to start his own specialist prosthodontic practice on the Gold Coast.
With his extensive study and work experience around the world, as well as back home in Australia, Dr Tony Coyne is considered one of the best prosthodontists on the Gold Coast.
Dr Tony Coyne’s Gold Coast prosthodontic practice is located at 2 Short Street, Southport. This is a nice central Gold Coast location, within walking distance of the Australia Fair shopping centre (providing a good alternative option for car parking if there are no parks available on the street). Given the location, public transport is also a good option with tram and bus stops nearby.
Formerly President of the Academy of Australian & New Zealand Prosthodontics, Dr Tony Coyne is passionate about continuing his education spending two weeks annually at local and international Prosthodontic meetings.
In his spare time Dr Tony Coyne likes to make the most of living on the sunny Gold Coast, enjoying time in the beautiful outdoors by kayaking, sailing and playing golf. He also very much enjoys spending time with his family.
Meet Dr Leanne XiaoLi HouDr Leanne XiaoLi Hou is a registered dental specialist in prosthodontics, graduated from University of Otago, where Dr Hou was awarded a prestigious Doctoral Scholarship during the intensive three years full time specialist training.Upon acceptance of a senior lecturer position from the School of Dentistry, University of Queensland she moved to Brisbane and then to the Gold Coast. Dr Hou has been practicing in private practices in Brisbane and Gold Coast since then and she is also a clinical supervisor at Dental clinics of Griffith University. Prior to the moving to Brisbane, Dr Hou worked as an associate dentist and lead dentist in private dental practices in Auckland for many years. Passionate about dentistry, Dr Hou continues to further her professional development through attending professional courses and local and international dental and prosthodontic meetings.
With the experiences, knowledge and skills acquired over the years of training, practising and teaching, Dr Hou brings together her gentle skillful touch, and attention to detail to take care of your dental needs and to maintain and improve your oral health and smile.
Outside work, Dr Leanne XiaoLi Hou likes to make the most of living on the sunny Gold Coast, enjoying time with family, friends in the beautiful outdoors and playing tennis.
